Both jobs have a lot in common, but it is safer to be a lawyer.
Both Heart surgeon and Lawyers cut people's hearts out. But heart surgeons will only consider to not put them back if you are a fresh (dead) donor. At least, you can say that Heart surgeons are not promoting their own existance, and when they give advice to patients they try to lower their future income from them. Lawyers don't work like that. But maybe they create not only income for themselves, but also for heart surgeons. Also, in a way lawyers are usefull because a heart surgeon better makes sure he does a good job or else he creates income for a lawyer. What happens if a lawyer does a lazy job?

Heart Surgeon... I think lawyers are evil. They have to lie sometimes to get ahead, or "twist" the truth in just enough way to still be abiding by the law, but I'd say they have to throw away their moral codes sometimes... and I couldn't do that.
I can't think of anything more respectable than being a doctor.

A lawyer - Therefore, I won't have to see any deaths actually happen or break the sad news of losing a loved one in surgery.....

Lawyer for charity or pro bono type work. Way too many people are taken for a finanial ride
