Periods run from 3 to 7 days, they may or may not be regular. My first wife would have her period so regular that she knew within 15 minutes of when she'd start bleeding. My second wife couldn't figure out that even given 2 weeks notice.

Cramps, and muscle pain is part of having a period, I suggest you take Midol to help. Try a nice hot bath or shower that can help too, heating pad helps too

Good Luck

Periods can last anywhere from 2-7 days. And you are having cramps. Your back, lower abdomen, legs, or breasts could hurt. midol works wonders for pain! You could also get migranes. You could also use a heating pad on your back, that helps alot too.

your period may last up to a week...it's different for everyone. You may notcie some cramping in ur lower abdominal area..or ur back because thats just ur muscles contracting, your period just happens to cause that...you may even experience tenderness in ur chest. But all this stuff is normal... no worries!

Have your self examined for Von Williabrands ailment, a genetic unfastened bleeding ailment - somewhat extra of a syndrome - and the main gentle form of Hemophilia (the only one women get). 5% of the inhabitants has it and that they don't know till oddities like this happen. I somewhat have it, and function dealt with what I call "hell days" for my finished existence. "Hell days" are the era days with clots such as you describe, and no tampon nor pad can incorporate them. It worsened in the time of menopause (specific, worsened) - and that i placed on black pants each and every of the time, in simple terms in case. LOL, there are worse issues, regardless of if that's an hardship-free try, and that i heartily propose it.

great now you get to go through this hell every month until you're 40! unless you get preggos which you shouldn't be thinking about for a long time. take ibuprofin also known as Motrin. it works for me! and you could have it for up to a week. i'm on birth control so i barely get my period at all. so i can't really sympathsize with you anymore. but er... congrats i guess? and good luck.
