The war of Iraq is long over...?

The war of Iraq is long over. Then why are we still getting terrorist attacks? I know that people hate the USA, because of many problems that "we" which is really President Bush did, but that is no reason to kill thousands of us also. But also, why did the U.S. support financially in mass killings in Israel when we financially still own 10 trillion dollars to China?

Grr...are the terrorist attacks acts of revenge against us, for President Bush's mistakes of killing billions of innocent people all around the world and his disastrous weapons of mass destruction accusations?

The war was over three months after it started. What we've had since is the OCCUPATION of Iraq.

The US congress did declared war on Iraq.

United Statesians and US interests are attacked because the US is the top dog in the world, it did not get to be top dog without stepping on a toe or two or ten thousand. The US has many enemies because of it's policies, policies of engagement that keep it on top. The US got to be were it's at by the sword, it eliminated everybody that got in it's way from the Native American Nations to the most recent Iraqi dictatorship. While overall it has done more good than bad, in it's wake has left millions of enemies willing to die simply to give the US a black eye. As long as we maintain current policies that will continue.

The "mission" in Iraq is over. The conflict continues.

And because there was no formal declaration of war, there cannot be any point where the war is over.

But the terrorist attacks have nothing to do with that really. Terrorists act out of hatred, to cause fear and to disrupt the lives of those they hate. And terrorists have hated the US for decades, and will continue to hate the US for decades more.

It really doesn't matter what we do, because the hatred is not rational. So there is really nothing we can do, except use violence in an attempt to stop violence. Which rarely works.

sure I agree with you people hate USA for its foreign policy, wars, killing Innocent people and blind support to Israel no matter what massacre they do. and I agree with you that doesn't give excuse to kill Innocent Americans. it is a crime to kill Innocent people no matter their race or religion.

don't you think if terrorist want to kill 200 people to pump a shopping mall or any other gathering than pumping an airplane

The war is not over yet. When the last enemy is dead or in custody, then it will be over. If we go for 6 months without a single attack on a coalition fighter, then we can call it over and pack up. Until then we have a responsibility to the innocent people in Iraq to stay and fight. The majority of Iraqis still want us there. A little known fact, but it's true.

because J.W.bush did a big mistake by enter iraq and i am sure that he is sorry for that but he cant give up now but he will give up soon
