guam and puerto rico are actually territories of the united states...should their players become a part of the US national team??

im sure there are other examples but those are the two that i thought of off the top of my head...

im not saying they shouldnt have their own teams...im just curious because they are so low on the fifa rankings so they may have a better chance of playing in the world cup if they join the US team.

Good Point...but Puerto Ricans and Guam people have their own pride as well...

The issue is even more spread that what you believe. Guam and Puerto Rico are Independent states that are "Freely associated with the US" (I still do not understand what this means). In other instances there are territories that are part of a country such as Wales, Northern Ireland, England and Scotland.
I think it is just historical by now, but that is the way that FIFA decided to manage the associations.
So every association will have a representative in the world competitions.

they are just common weath nations, they get all their economic support from the usa. they are stiil like dependent nations, becuase they dont fly the US flag as their national flag.

I AMNOT SURE ABOOUT THAT. THYE PROBABLY WOULDN'T MAKE IT TO ANY MAJOR TOURNAMENT
