No one even knows if it is moving let alone how fast.

We know that movement is occuring within it but, that's about the size of it.

If the universe is infinite, which is more logical but less perceivable, then it is not moving and movement only occurs within it.

If the universe is moving, the question becomes within what, because, mass and gravity cannot co-exist with a vacuum and the universe, therefore, cannot exist unless everyone wants to change the laws of physics.

I don't know about Part 1, but to answer your part 2, if one makes the assumption that the universe is expanding, then the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. Check out this website for a more detailed explanation - http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=575

I'll go out on a limb and say that it is expanding at a rate of 1 second per second from the past into the future.

Well, I suppose it really matters whether you mean "expands" or "moves". Since the Universe has no other reference point in relation to itself, it's impossible to tell if the Universe is moving, spinning or anything else.

But expansion or contraction is completely different.
