The Brits, bless them, still hold on to liberties.
Well, let's say they hold on to different ones than we do.
They don't like our no fly lists, for example.

I don't know, but the more I read today the more I am just saddened by the state of the way things have become. I have two young kids and it makes me wonder what the heck they are going to grow up to.
Did they think that the security over there is more relaxed? I think, from what I have read, that they had it planned to simultainously blow the planes up over DC, LAX, and NYC. There were 11 liquid explosive devises linked to denators disguised in laptops, cell phones and I Pods.
Here we are, bending over backwards to help out all of these foreign, less fortunate countries and this is how they say thanks.
Pull our troops out, pull our money out, cancel all shipment of everything and concentrate on what is needed to make the US a better place. If it is so great in all these other countries, then why are their citizens coming over here?
I know I may tick some people off, but I really don't care. I am allowed my opinion and I am speaking it.
My 4 1/2 year old son turned to me this morning and asked why someone would want to blow a plane full of people up. How do I answer that?

Probably because they are British born,of Pakistani origin. They are already living here,in the UK.Maybe they thought they may draw attention to themselves by travelling to the USA, who knows the reasoning behind such mentality.Just imagine had they succeeded, what a coo for them, killing British and Americans together, two close allies.I'm just glad that America and British intelligence agencies DO work closely together and share information, otherwise would they have got away with it I wonder???

I believe Al Qaeda figured they could get away with it. As of the the recent update ten airlines had been targeted. In London the investigation is on going. When they say its global diminensal in scale. Don't be surprise if the FBI makes some arrests over here.

In 2001, Bush was still viewed as illegitimate due to the 2000 elections.
In 2006, Blair is on the ropes.
9/11 and yesterday kept these men in power, but for how long?

My understanding is the terrorists are British subjects of Pakistani descent. So they did it from their home county.

Because England is one of our allies. They hate anyone who is with us! That's why so many countries, like France, won't stand by us or stand up to them! They could be next if they do!
