I do think it was a real threat and that we are lucky (I know it wasn't luck but hard work) to catch them before they got to there 72 virgins

It is a blessing that the terrorist plans were thwarted, but in a way, they accomplished part of their goal --- to terrorize.

Have any of you realized that we have threats to our country every day? The fact that they got caught is a good thing, but there's people in our own country who plot things. Look at Pearl Harbor, 9/11, etc. Terriorism will always be here, and hopefully they will always get caught before something really bad happens.

I think we need to wait and find out all about the meat on these bones. Heard one suggestion this been in the checking out stage since December 2005. If that's true, why wasn't security tightened without fan fare earlier then today?

If the people arrested were actually planning to carry out their "plans" then yes it was a terrorist threat.

I think it was all apart of a plot just to distract people from what is going on in Lebanon, people started to have second thoughts about the way UK and USA is dealing with the matter, so, they needed to remind them about Muslim extremists, and terrorism, so that they will be happy to fight Muslims in Lebanon, don't you agree?
