You might want to consider going to a seamstress to make custom-made crib bedding. That way you will be sure that the bedding will match the colours of the baby's room, too.

My daugters crib set was Classic Winnie the Pooh from Walmart.

But lately at Babies R Us i've noticed you can buy mix and match sets (they are solid colors) but they have some very bright and bold colors. So you could get a a Bright RED crib bumper and a pink or green sheet and a black crib skirt or something.

My only opinion is that you DO NOT get a crib bumper, they can cause SIDS. I got a mesh one that keeps little arms from getting stuck between the wall and crib, but baby can still breathe through it. The danger is that the baby will not suffocate, but exhale and then breathe in the Carbon Dioxide and not air.

I decorated in winnie the pooh from walmart, crib, sheets, bumpers, swing, bouncer, highchair, walker, blankets, carseat, stroller, clothes, wall hangings, diaper bag, even the diapers, all winnie the pooh, I think it is great for a boy or girl so you don't have to redecorate when you have another baby. Good luck!!

we got ours on clearance at pottery barn kids. by chance the one we liked was on clearance- woohoo. :o) sometimes you can find new things on ebay-- we completed the set by getting things off of ebay because some of the things pbkids didnt have any more of. you could probably try some local boutiques in your area too for some different things. there are a ton at babies r us as well... which im sure youve tried. though- we got fitted sheets from somewhere else... it's the kind that zip so it completely fits around the mattress and baby hands cant yank them up... super cool... plus, it's easy to change the sheet! :o) i think my hubby found out about those on babycenter.com -- i think. good luck in your searching.

Rainbow Fish (Babies"R"Us has it if one is near you)
It is beautiful see colors and you can find a lot of different things to match! Target had picture of Rainbow fish. And you could hang a net up in a corner like a fish net to give it a deep sea look. Babies"R"Us also had the lamp mobile etc. to match! Best of luck

Don't you have a Babies R Us near you? They have a whole wall of bedding sets. http://www.toysrus.com/sm-home--bs-2255957.html
Target also has many nice choices: http://target.com/target_baby/index_noflash.jhtml
and lastly, have you tried a Children's Orchard (children and baby resale shop) in your area? They have a wider selection of even new retailers! http://www.childrensorchard.com/
But ONCE UPON A CHILD has the best prices (also resale): http://www.ouac.com
Only the 1st two ship via mail, though. Happy shopping! (hope I haven't just told you a lot of what you already know.)

Are you having a boy or girl or a suprise ?

They have cute Blue Jean teddy stuff for boys.. and girls there is a ton of pinks...

Are you looking for low cost or does cost not matter ?

Did you check ebay ? or yahoo auctions ?

Do you want a theme like Rubber Duckies, Winnie the Pooh etc. or just solid colors ?
