By law, there is no direct legal rule as yet. There was some debate a couple of months ago about whether to introduce one, but it's ongoing & these things take a while to come into effect.
However, there are laws that indirect govern this, in terms of health and safety. Also many employers will have their own, non-legally required rules regarding it. Check with ACAS.

No law per se, but some labor unions have standards about it. If there is no rule to protect you, take the initiative and buy yourself a soft rubber "Ped-a-mat" to stand on. Not really fair to a worker, but your back is your responsibility. And if you tend to shift your weight from one foot to the other while standing, try to spend equal amounts of time on each foot/ leg/ hip.
Not much help, but it's my best, experienced advice all the same.

No; but keep moving your toes and keep exercising your legs when forced to stand for long durations.

think there may be something in "the Shops Act" for shop workers. Don't know about any other industry.
