my wedding on the beach
it was a defining moment - all our good friends, hanging out in the morning sun, a way-simple ceremony (i was six months pregnant at the time), an awesome low-country boil for dinner, me and my girlfriends singing a capella gospel afterwards, going swimming that night off the dock under a full moon in phosphorescent water.
that's the memory that i think would stick with most people.

they would try to remember good stuff (there isn't much) to tell my daughter because she wouldn't remember me at all (shes too young)
