How come girls like putting make up and love having long hair and like to wear fashion clothes.

Thats like asking a guy why does he wear nice clothes! Girls love being pretty because it makes them feel good about themselves because they KNOW for a fact that they are pretty. They feel better knowing that they have long beautiful hair so that it can blow in the wind giving them the perfect look! They like that stuff! I wouldnt be caught dead going out without my makeup, hair being done, and cute clothes. It's a way of expressing ourselves. A way of making us feel like we're on top of the world without having anyone say so. As long as we feel that way we're unstoppable. Your probably wondering how come some girls have to wear makeup just to feel good? Its a "self thing" that'll take days to explain so I'll just leave it at that!

I have worked in jobs where I get filthy during the day and nothing makes me feel better that getting dressed up with hair and makeup done. Chalk it up to being around Barbie's growing up, playing dress up, dolls, and all that stuff. I only do it now for special occasions, since I have to be business casual and looking professional and presentable everyday at work. I actually enjoy being able to hang out on the weekends with a ball cap on, little or no make up and comfy clothes. I guess it just depends on how you were raised. I don't go for the high dollar name brands...I go for what looks good, fits and is within my budget. We know that when we look good, we get compliments and we are noticed. It's the same for guys. I love to see a man who can be greasy and dirty one minute and then ready to go out looking all hot and clean the next. I have an ex who worked on machinery all day long and I loved the dirty-working-hard-look, but when he would get cleaned up, he looked GREAT!! He could handle jeans and a t-shirt or a tux for wedding....it's all about the visual perception.

Girls like being pretty because it makes them feel good with themselves and the knock on effect is they like to now that the opposite sex is attracted to them. This also increases their confidence because it makes them feel like a woman and gives them their identity of being a woman and the power they posses. The same is true with a man he only knows he is a man because a woman gives him the awareness that he is a man, how else would he know.

They do it to feel good about themselves. You have to boost your confidence coz it has to come from yourself first. right? There is nothing wrong with looking pretty, put together and nice... Besides, that's just how girls are.... =) I appreciate girls who looks pretty w/o trying TOO hard. you know. none of that fake *** looking girls.. coz what would they be without layers of make up? Basic and light makeup is the way to go.

cause we are born to be that way....all our lifes we are dressed up in cute things and play with perty dolls and that is all most girls know.......plus look at all the stars that is all we see there for that is all we are compared to........let a little girl get dirty and play with boy toys and she turns out to be the girl wearing sports cloths and no makeup and guess what it still doens't change who she is.....apperance shouldn't matter cause no matter how much make up you have on or weather you are wearing sports wear your still the same inside and nothing you wear will change that

i like to wear make up on the odd occasion and have newish clothes when i wear makeup it makes me feel better sometimes but i couldnt wear it everyday like some girls lol

Cause it's fun...just part of being a girl. Girls like to feel pretty. If you don't like it then don't do it. Everyone is different.
