It depends. Teen girls will want a guy either their age or SLIGHTLY older. Women in their twenties and thirties usually like guys their age, or older, but not elderly. Women in their forties might want the same age group as 20 &30 year olds, but possibly slightly younger men, too. Now, elderly women are usually into guys same age or anywhere from a little, to much younger.

Women normally prefer older men because they are more mature and know what they want in life. My first husband was a year older than me and was WAY too immature. I married him right before he turned 21 and all he wanted to do was drink. Now, I'm married to the man of my dreams and he's 5 years older than me. We fit together perfectly because every way that I'm immature, he's not and every way that he's immature, I'm not. Also, older men are already set in their careers, know what they want out of life and are normally ready to have a family, which is what most women want if they are wanting to get married. Men that are younger than a woman are normally jealous that the woman is set in her life and knows what she wants, and he has no clue. Men and women of the same age have most of the same interests, but women want security and men our age can't give that to us. I hope this helps.

Depends on the woman. I prefer people my own age. That way we have the same mentality. Maybe a little older, but more than 5 years is too much. And young guys are too immature.

Guys generally act about 5-10 years younger than they actually are. That's why most women are with older men. My husband is 7 years older than me and he almost acts as old as I am. We have 4 children together, but when people ask me how many kids I have, I honestly tell them 5. One of them being my husband. He almost requires more attention than my 2 year old!!

I married a man almost 17 years older than me so I guess that shows what I think. He's more of a man than any of the guys my own age that I dated.

I personally prefer no more then 5 years older, definitely not younger. Men tend to (fact) mature later then woman so when we, me, us, are ready to get hitched they are too if they are mature. If they are not content with there work, finances, and self no one can make them commit. Stay away from 10 years or older if you plan to stay together for a while, you will be taking care of them as if they were your child/ baby sooner then you expect.

Girls are naturally more mature than men statistics show that even in early development and girls have an essential need to be nurtured and in my experience men younger just dont cut it in the romance, sex, and love department, so definately most women prefer a man who is older than her

All girls are different.

I prefer older guys...as do many other women. Girls mature faster than guys so that is usually why girls go for older guys.

I think most girls who like younger guys like to feel like they control them more??? Somewhat of a mother figure...I guess.
