No I have not personally but I can understand why some people would. I mean if you have 4 kids that are all male or all female you may want to go the extra mile to get a child of a different sex. The women on here should really think about judging others. Its not cool. If you are doing it just cause you really want a certain sex and you dont have any kids yet well then maybe they should just be happy with what they get. To each there own!

There is a way to increase the odds. Male sperm are faster than female sperm, so if you want a boy you should have sex within 24 hours of ovulation so that the male sperm get up there first. You should abstain from sex for the 4 days prior to that though. If you want a girl then the trick is to have sex 3 and 4 days before you ovulate, since the female sperm live longer. Then you would abstain for the next 3 days so that when the egg is released only female sperm is left. I timed my pregnancy for a girl and it worked. This worked for both my best friend and cousin. My OB told me later that he has seen the research to support this.

You know how many women out there can not even have children of their own? Be happy for what God gives you regardless of gender. If you want a specific gender than adopt, but don't be so selfish.

This is unethical and though it is being experimented with, it is highly UNETHICAL. This idea that you want to CHOOSE the sex of your child so that you "get what you want" stinks big time. Grow up and take what you are given. Geesh!
