I am pregnant for the 3rd time this year. The first 2 ended in m/c. One in Jan. and one in April. I am concerned that I may miscarry this one also. I was told in Jan that I have that HPV, but my doc told me that the HPV had nothing to do with the m/cs. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

HPV will not and does not affect your capability of conceiving. HPV is a small virus in the vaginal area... with treatment and time can go away... sometimes the virus will go away on it's own. It's nothing to be concerned about. You might be m/c-ing because of your body... or you might be stressing yourself out too much. If this pregnancy results in a m/c... then I suggest to go see your gyno specialist. There might be a different reason as to why your are m/c-ing... I hope this helps. Best of luck!!

Im not sure. I had adn HPV that was treated for two months, April and May of 2005. I missed my last two treatments, but went on with life. I became pregnant in July and i told them i had an HPV. I was honest with them about being treated and throughout my whole pregnancy i had no signs of it being there. I was so worried i could lose my baby or have to have a c section. Im not sure, honestly. I hope your doctor has you on bed rest so you wont have any more m/c. I had a friend who could only hold her baby up to i think it was 5 months and then they had to sew up her cervix so she wouldnt lose the baby. I hope you have good luck with this pregnancy. Im worrying now if my baby who is 4 mos old will get syptoms of the hpv. Even though the doctors say i dont have it anymore. I worry too.

I have HPV, they found it about 1 week before I found out I was pregnant with my first child.
I have 5 children now.
HPV shouldn't affect your fertility or ability to carry a pregnancy.
if you continue to have m/c you should seek out testing.
Best of luck to you!
