did the WB get bought out? does Warner Brothers not own the station anymore?

I think it is UPN merging with WB, it will start in September. Warner Bros. probably owns half of that station.

UPN and The WB are basically going out of business. Replacing them is The CW . a new network formed by CBS which owned UPN and Warner Bros Entertainment , a subsidiary of Time Warner. .

It's a combination of UPN and WB programming. I'm not sure who owns it, but reason for the 2 networks' shows being on a single network is most likely both networks' poor ratings.
