Last time I checked, (which was a while ago) the San Diego PADRES were in first place in the NL West. Did you mean NBA or Hockey? San Diego doesn't have any of those teams.

Nope, they shouldn't. They're better off with their current AAA team, the Padres.
Just imagine if there was professional baseball played in the NL West... hahahah, that would be messed up.
