Once we get to high school we usually start to make plans for the future. Around 10th grade I decided I wanted to be a Pre-School teacher, which I did by going to college for early childhood education. But before college I did volunteer work as a teachers aid and worked at summer camp. What steps have you taken towards your future? And if you haven't made any plans, why not?

Actually, by the time I was halfway through high school, I had no goals and had no desire whatsoever to further my education. Instead, I went to a vocational school to learn secretarial skills. 15 years later, I have earned an associate's degree in business and working on my bachelor's in psychology. And believe it or not, at 33 I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!

I graduated high school not really having a clue as to what I wanted to do.. after carefully thinking things over I decided to pursue a career in medicine b/c I thought there will always be some form of work out there for me. I am going into my third year of college and am working on a bachelors degree in Biology. After that I will continue my education on to graduate school to become a pharmacist. After that I have thought about working as a pharmacist for at least 7 years and then maybe returning to school to get a degree in anesthesiology.

My goal after high school is to get into Stanford University. I want to earn my bachelor's degree in Biology. Then I want to go to medical school and become a family doctor. I have worked hard ever since the beginning of middle school, and I am currently taking all honor classes in high school.
