not sure but i know they are the top sellers....and i wear them all the time don't even own the other type.....wait what is the name of the other type i have been in thongs for so long i don't even remeber the name of those other ones

Those saying 75% are crazy. You have to stop thinking about just your generation if it is FEMALE'S UNDERWARE. Come on do you think your Grandma and your Mother are wearing thongs. Ok in some cases they are but IN GENERAL. Also you have to count kids. I mean this says FEMALE'S doesn't give an age group. So although 45% was within reason I agree with the one in three at best. I would actually go lower though when factoring in ALL FEMALES and say about 30%, which by the paper standards would be the same basically.

I don't intend to sound ugly, I just want to know what the difference is in wearing a thong and having a wedgy, is a thong really uncomfortable?

Entirely depends on what you're wearing on the outside. You dont want to wear regular fullbacks and have a pantyline showing if you're wearing tight pants or a tight skirt. Of course, thongs have become immensely more popular than ever before.
