Thomas E. Ricks was there in person when Cheney making a speech to the Veteran of Foriegn Wars Convention got the hysteria going on August 26th of 2003 by declaring that "There is no doubt" that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, or WMD.
Cheney flatly called for war, proclaiming that Iraq was a clear and persent danger to the United States.

It sounds like you like this book. I just got a copy and I'm planning on reading it soon. There are a zillion books out with details such as this. Actually that's an exaggeration there may be 25 books now. There's all kinds of evidence on how the US was sold a lie, and by who. It's incredible that so many people still believe that Iraq had WMD and that we are fighting a righteous war there, even though the war supporters for a shrinking percentage.If you had any doubts before reading a book such as this, you'll have few by the end of it.
