I'm interested in buying a Mac laptop, which one is the best for my money?

They seem very expensive...but I've heard great things about them. I don't know anything about computers, which one is a good one for basic computer needs with "media" capabilities such as pictures, movie making/dvd burning for my home videos, alittle music etc?

The Macbook (the white laptop Mac makes) is less expensive than the Macbook pro. They come with software to edit movies, comes with iTunes, etc...If you're a student, or work for a university, you should qualify for the education discount.
