on the right side of the decimal point is the third spot the 1000th's or is the fourth spot. I have this problem that has the number 1.2k; where do I add the zeros? please help?

kilo is 1000. so if you were talking about meters, for example, 1.2 kilometers would equal 1,200 meters.

do multipilication of 1000 with the number!
