Actually, they have the right to vote, IF they are able to think for themselves.
I'm a single parent of an Autistic child. He's not retarded, (MR), but he does have special needs and is high functioning. To me, if anyone with a disability can think enough to know what's going on around them, AND be able to make a choice, they should be able to vote if they want to vote.
