Conspiracies have shaped history since the beginning of time. Conspiracies occur to control the masses, to carry out an agenda(usually war) or to put puppet leaders in other countries that will carry out a pro-west plan of action. History is based on the "official story" which is mostly all lies. No one is going to change the history books any time soon.

Yes I agree many conspiracies are imagined, or misunderstood coincidences. But before you dismiss all conspiracies as being imaginary, check out this well documented list of known historical conspiracies.
Don't be too quick to judge people when they are interested in current affairs, and their interest strike you as paranoid.

It's sometimes interesting to read about them, but I wouldn't always trust all that stuff. Such as all the connections between Lincoln and Kennedy (some of which were debunked, others were just coincidence which the conspirators try to make out as something bigger than that).

It makes people think that they are not so small and have a role in historical events.
