Seriously, why would you vote for her? Why wouldn't you? Who would you want as her running-mate? Or.... who would you want instead?

No way. She's just not presidential material, she's too partisan. It's the difference between being a literary critic or a writer. She can point out flaws in many plans, but I have yet to hear a good one from her. That qualifies her for the senate, but not President. I'd like to see the Dems put Edwards back on the ticket. I liked what he had to say before he got nominated for Vice, at which point his job became to back up Kerry unquestioningly. It depends on who the GOP puts up too. Intelligence and Leadership are much more important to me than an R or a D next to their title.

Hillary is much more government educated than many others who may "get the nod", has much better qualifications in that she was in the Whitehouse for eight years when she was married to Bill Clinton and understands what it is to be in the limelight.

She is more traveled, has published books and is generally better known than just about any other person in government today.

John Edwards would make a fantastic running mate!
And she must be very good for the country - otherwise the Republicans would not be spending billions of dollars in seeing her get defeated - before she has really decided to run.

I would only vote for her if the republicans were running a George W. clone. I would much rather see Al Gore make a run for it again. He's an intelligent, passionate man that would be an asset to the country. Hillary is too pro Iraq war for my taste and flipflops on the issues depending on the group she is addressing.

Russ Feingold would seem to be a possible preference for me. Hill doesn't make my top 10 or 20, but THAT is NOTHING about her gender, but because of her almost-Leiberman voting record and policies. I would have to know who the Repuke opposition would probably be to know how much "electability" would weigh in. The LAST thing the USA needs is an '08 Repuke.

I'll absolutely vote for her. Clinton haters are Bush lovers. Whatever they want to say about her is tainted by their support for the worst president this country has ever had. When he's not on vacation, he's busy giving away our country to his cronies and breaking the law (and desicrating the Constitiution) by authorizing programs that violate our civil liberties. No Clinton would do that. Gore wouldn't have either.

Thomas Jerfferson had it right when he said "he who trades liberty for security deserves neither and will lose both.” The terrorists win when we allow our government to trample our civil liberties in the name of security. Wake up and smell the facisim. Its comming.

She cant do any worse than what we have, and i don't see any one better in view. She has an idea how things run due to prior exposure {Clinton's presidency) and is quite intelligent herself. The only problem i see is everyone bringing in her marriage situation with Bill and not the real issues. Bill had the same problem the republicans - couldn't get out of his bedroom. That is their issue not the peoples. Past president were no better, the press just had more respect, now its just cutthroat.

I wouldn't vote for her if she was the last person on earth. Can you believe how bitter she is or how she Bush Bashed at Coretta Scott King's funeral? Anyone like that doesn't deserve to be president. She was suppose to be speaking at a funeral not campaigning! If any female were to run for president it should be Condi Rice. She knows her stuff and has what it takes!

I wouldn't vote for Hillary if she was the only one running and I had a gun pointing at my head forcing me to do it.

I wouldn't vote for another bush for the same reasons as stated by boredstiff. I would consider Joe L. But he makes too much sense and has too much integrity for that party.

I would vote for her because i want her to reform healthcare. I have a family member dieing of cancer who does not have healthcare and what is so bad is that when she found out she had breast cancer it was early and she could have lived. Is this the american way? I have vowed to be a democrat the rest of my life and my republican family is now democrat. It makes me sick when I see pigs on here talking about social programs blah blah Let them watch their families die from somethin they could have lived from just because they had no healthcare. Oh yeah she didnt qualify for help from the state because they said she hadn no children. I didnt know but a single person with no kids gets no help.
