After 9/11 there were multiple attempts to organize terrorist act by Muslim extremists. Most of them failed due to the more serious attitude of the responsible organizations. 9/11 has showed USA, that war is not far away, somewhere on Middle East, in Chechnya or Sudan. It is in the neighborhood, and no one is safe.
Terrorist threat is real, and as sooner Western Civilization realizes that WW III has actually started, and earlier we attack them, bigger survival chances we have. Preventing terrorist attacks is great, but this is a defensive tactics. It cannot always succeed. Terrorists are too deep in every country's structures, they have tons of money to operate, and they do not have any sentiments towards you. They will blew you off, they will poison you, they will burn you to get what they want.
USA, Europe, Russia, Israel, and India have a lot in common: they all are fighting their own private wars with terrorists. United, they can win.

It is pretty early in the day to draw conclusions on this, but we have no reason to be surprised that the terrorists could come up with such a plan and try to implement it. As for Britain and the US fighting together against this sort of perfidy, it has been happening for a long time now, and we can all be appreciative that this is so.

Were in it together no matter what their is to much history and the 2 countries are really co-dependant due to past actions and future threats.
If Britian was to abandon the USA it would be her biggest mistake possible. We will back the Britians, and apparantly tawian and Israel. It seems our loyalities are high to our friends to all others we have little interest, also I believe we would aid Russia in a conflict mending old injuries.

Then, 6/8
Then 5/7
Then 4/6
Then 3/5
Then 2/4
Then 1/3
Then 12/2
Then 11/1-----nuclear winter. GG.

I don't think that we should do a victory dance, yet. We don't know that everyone in the planning was caught and we could still be in danger. When we get cocky that's when we are most vulnerable.

I think your government is trying to use the media to scare you into giving up some more of your civil rights and privacy.

It really makes me angry that we have to give up our liberty's; because of people...excuse me...monsters are trying to hurt others. Its a sad day because; of the fact; that they were planning to hurt innocent people.
