I doubt it, security will now be at its tightest and highest level making it more difficult, but not impossible to breach.

The difficult factor is that these are not planned by Al Qaeda as such but home grown disenfranchised Muslims and therefore they may have no links to Al Qaeda at all which makes the intelligence much more difficult.

Unfortunately, I think another attack is inevitable however, no matter how many attempts are thwarted.

I think this was the big attack. The date. Someone had warned about 8/22 for Islam world wide. 9-1=8, 11+11=22. Well I was wondering about that date. Now I see where the attack was suppose to be 9-1=8, 11-1=10. So that is today 8/10. When you think about it, there could be something Islam is thinking for 8/22 though. I wouldn't put it past them.

Just to add that I read the other day a prophetic report that said there was a planned attack on the President's family & the plan would be found out & prevented. Also that God has heard the prayers of the President, God's people in America & the Soldiers before they die. God is going to protect us from another war. Telling Syria to not attack the Lion. God is shining on America. He calls America His own. The children will rejoice. The web site: kimclement.com, "Syria, who do you think you are? You will not rise up against the Lion!"

Yes, I thought that as well. The problem with these idiots is that you never know what they will do next. I find it hard to believe that it was that easy to catch them before the act. There must be another plan in motion somewhere to catch everyone unprepared for the real attack. I just hope that the people in charge of security know what they are doing and are not too cocky, because these were caught. I don't think todays events were the only plans in motion. The scary part is that no matter how hard you try to stop these fanatics, there is no way that you can always know where they are and what they are going to do next.

Absolutely. A Smokescreen by the British government.

NOTHING happened today apart from lifting 20 people that we are told are terrorists.

They will all be released without charge.

I don't know about a smokescreen, however, the terrorists are still going to keep trying. We should not let our guard down and get complaisant, this should be another wake up call...Hats off to the British authorities!!!

I have answered a similar question so i will save you my rhetoric but I think its a smokescreen to get the west onside to continue the middle east conflict and to give USA mandate to attack Iran. I dont believe anything happened today. Propaganda.

I agree with you. I think the big one is going to hit, and these guys were just the patsies who had to get caught. Especially with the 5th anniversary of 9/11 just right around the corner, I don't have warm fuzzy thoughts about that day this year.

The trouble is, they are on highest alert now, but give it a couple of months, it will settle down, the gov't will turn their attention to something else - then we should be really worried.

Do you think it's safer flying to the US from mainland Europe than the UK? I'm planning a trip at Xmas, really worried..

Their response to this emergency event was acted pretty fast, and took high security measures to prevent anything happening. But even with a fine tooth comb, sometimes things slip right through.
