As a London resident for 30 odd years I'm not that concerned. I hope you understand that there has always been terrorism in London for as long as I can remember. It used to be the US-funded IRA, they were worse then the current terrorist threat, they caused endless hassle on the transport system here. The fact is life has its dangers.

my friend is actually home (in PA - USA) but lives primarily just outside london. we're hoping that when she flies back across the pond at the beginning of september all these restrictions and everything will be cleared up as she is traveling w/her 4 yro.
