...extend my wood deck, making it a two level deck, or use tinted concrete, to make a patio beside the deck? The cost for both is about the same. I live in the woods...lots of trees, and the deck I have is carpeted, and half of it is covered.

I think the two level wood deck would fit in better with the wooded surroundings.
However, which would you get more use out of? The concrete patio would hold up better, longer, with less maintenance.
