It's really pretty easy. The lines on the measure represent the four bass strings on your guitar. The numbers on the lines represent which fret you are going to play. If there is a 0 then that means you would play that string open, meaning you would not fret it at all. The musical notation for example when you see a "H" that means hammer-on. Just try out some easy songs starting out. After awhile you will read the music faster and faster. It will aslo get alot easier for you if you stick with it. I suggest playing some easy songs like Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" or Queen's "Another one bites the dust". Don't sweat the small stuff and get frustrated while playing. Just get the song down for the most part and then focus on fine tuning it and figuring out how to do slides, hammer on's, pull off's etc.
