If they are all happy I don't see why not. It might not be my lifestyle but who am I to judge something that might work out just fine for other people?

all women have other husbands, in real, in fancy, dream, fantasy. legally not permitted in most countries. the malabar nair women till 1950, and the N.india Jhats even now have the custom.
if a man has 2 or 2000 wives[ king solomon like], do u think the wife was waiting 1 year for her turn? polyandry therefore may come as fornication/adultery/ loose sex, and whatever.

I think of polyandry the same way I think of polygamy. I couldn't participate in either lifestyle. If others want to, that's their prerogative. I also do not think that society could withstand many poly-relationships. It would be very complicated legally and financially for many reasons.

I just shuddered at your question. All the men I know are slobs and if I had to put up with more than one husband I would end up sitting in a corner drooling and have to be fed applesauce with a spoon. What woman in her right mind would want more than one man to take care of? You just have to be kidding.

What purpose would it serve? There is not a shortage of wives in most parts of the world. So it doesn't seem like there is any reason for the practice. Nor for polygamy.
