They are great. And the US obviously think our police are great too, as they keep trying to say that they helped and had something to do with the arrests lol

I'm glad - along with any sane person - it didn't happen- I thought I'd better say that first...
However, let's bear in mind nothing's been proven yet. And the timing, while Israel is ignoring international pressure and continuing to kill hundreds of innocent civilians, is fairly convenient for the US.
Of course I'm probably being paranoid. However in general I don't think that extreme policing is a good way to solve the problem long term, we have had continuing terrorism in the last few years, and unless we can show the people who want to destroy people's lives and society as we know it that they are in the wrong through having better relationships between all communities in this country and the rest of the world then near misses like today's and occasions when people do get killed will continue to happen.
Oh and good on them if the people they arrested are convicted in the end on the basis of sound evidence.

I have tried and really can not imagine the devastation that would have been caused if the intelligence hadn't been acted upon.
For the first time in about 20yrs i used the tube on Tuesday - i was terrified. Looking at and watching everyone! We shouldn't have to live with such fear.
WELL DONE to all involved in foiling this latest plot.

You don't really believe that do you??
They will all be released without charge.
There was no plot.
Thought about Iraq or Afghanistan today?
NO? Coincidence? I think not.
We live with fear because we are told to be scared. The IRA carried out many more attacks. We weren't this scared!!!!!
PS I am a patriot. It is my duty not to hide from the truth.
I served 11 years in the forces so I am no conscientious objector.
Just stop believing everything you read or hear.

Excellent job by the Brittish police, Pakistan, and any other countries involved. This is what the "War On Terror" should be - countries working together to catch terrorists before they strike.

All you know is what you were told. How do we really know it ever was going to happen?. It is pretty easy to invent a terrible plot and then when you "foil it" take all the credit. My guess is that the patriot act is up for another vote for some more funds and scared voters are good voters.

This is just one battle. It's going to take a lot of time and effort on many fronts to win the war. But any progress is praised.

Until they are all released without charge next week, as it transpiresthey were just a family going on holiday who suffer fro skin problems and were just carrying extra amounts of moisturiser......
But hopefully not. It wasn't all just a scare to distract us from the expansion of the Israeli ground attacks within the sovereign state of Israel. No, really it wasn't.
