I think the law that remains on the books in North Carolina stating that one cannot plow their cotton field with an elephant is past absurd.......we have the cotton but we don't have the elephants.

Sure. The USA's laws on drinking are rediculous victorianism carried over from the past.

I think its rediculous that someone can fight and die for their country in the army at the age of 16 but cant have a beer till they are 21.

Drinking isnt the problem. The the attitude and reason for drinking thats the problem. People drink to get drunk here while in Germany, England or Japan they nurse one over a hour and its for refreshment.

the Sunshine Law in Missouri, it keeps your employment records confidential, that means if you work in a nursing home and abuse some one, you can get fired and go to work in another home or if you are a cop and misuse your authority you can be dismissed and go to work as a cop some where else, and recently we've had murder cases that carry less time than writing bad checks, the fact that we can abort a child a month before its born and be with in the law....I'm running outta room!!!LOL

I think all of the laws pertaining to victimless crimes are absurd

Most gun control laws are pure crap. Look at Australia and the U.K. With more restrictive firearms controls, they have higher violent crime rates.

yes the fact that in australia murderers get less jail time than bank fraud or tax dodgers
