lugo's numbers will drop with his new team - rays let him run, but now he's moved to a pitcher's park (less HR as well).

cano is gonna be in the middle of a sick yankee lineup, can't really go wrong with that. you know he'll produce there, as he's shown since returning these past few games. i'd go with cano.

NO!...that's my short answer.

Lugo's just getting used to his new NL spot, but I'd take him any day over Cano. Lugo may have a lesser average, but not enough to make up for his usefulness on the bases...Cano's coming off an injury, and not sure where he'll go from here. I'd stick with Lugo, and if you're looking to help SS, here's some other [young]suggestions...

Stephen Drew...batting .337, good amount of extra base hits, I've brought him on my team for a good backup (but could start)

Hanley Ramirez...If he's avaliable..33 SB, generating some power now....he'd be excellent at your SS (not as good of an average at .287 or so)

WIlson Betemit might be a good bet too, good power, .284 avg from a nice rookie...

If you can get one of these other shorstops to fill the gap, then I'd take it, because Cano would be an upgrade from Orlando Hudson...!

Otherwise, if you need a second baseman, I'd get Dan Uggla if he's avaliable...
