addition
same signs add the absolute value and give the common sign
e.g.(+)4+(+)9==(4+9)=+13
(-8)+(-9)=-(8+9)=-17
subtraction.change the sign of the number to be subtracted (the subtrahend) and add it to the number from which this number is to be subtracted(the minuend)
e.g.subtract -6 from 5=> 5-(-6)=5+(+6)=11
multiplication:if the numbers to be multiplied are of the same sign the product will be positive and if theyare of different signs the product will be negatine
e.g. -5*-3=+24 and 32*8=256
-3*8=-24 and 9*-5=-45
division:multiply by the reciprocal

First, you divide it's number one fact that down the next number and you go right back. Divide, multiply, subtract, and bring down.

If it is for algebra, the answer is PEMDAS. Paratheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and lastly subtraction. This is the order in which equations are to be solved.

if you're talking order of operations it would be multiply and/or divide first from left to right then do your addition and subtraction from left to right.
