recently saw the unrated version of this disgusting film on dvd.heads getting bitten off of lovebirds,a dog getting gutted(where's PETA?),a young girl being raped by a freak,a man getting buned alive,etc.it made me sick and i can't believe that Wes Craven would actually have his name associated with this piece of abusive trash.who feels the same way? if you get nasty with me at all about this i will report you,so don't even bother to respond if this sickness was your kind of film

to the person who asked me why i sat through the whole thing,i bought the dvd thinking it was going to be a good scary movie,i watched the whole thing so that when i threw it back at the person in the dvd store,i would be able to let them know why

I saw it the other night with my bf who had already seen it. Afterwards, I'm like, honey why the F did you agree to watch that again?? Geez!!
I am a HUGE fan of scary movies. Love them. BUT this was the worst. Completely gratuitous. No point. No good ending. Just stupid and mysogynistic and twisted. I really think whoever wrote this should be locked up because obviously they are a serial killer in the making.
On the other hand, I saw What Lies Beneath again last night. Such a well written, scary and suspenseful film. I wish all horror could be that good.

You saw the remake I take it?
Ick....remakes of classics are doomed to fail. I was truly scared by the original version, haunted and disturbed...the remake just sucked.
The original...while disturbing most certainly...was not as gory as the remake. I thought the remake was too over the top and far to gory when it didn't need to be.
Horror movie writers and producers are responding to society's call for the bigger and better scare by throwing more blood and guts into the film....eh. That's not scary...it's just gross.
It's far more scary to have a filmmaker be able to reach into your head and scare you with what you think you see, and show you what you weren't expecting...show it all and it just ruins the whole experience.
Wes Craven has always pushed the envelope...The Last House on the Left is a prime example of just how far he is willing to go to push it. If you the Hills Have Eyes was disgusting...don't rent this one. It's extremely disturbing..to say the least.

i agree with u. it was definitely the worst movie. i just rented it last week and i was blown away. Lovbirds getting eatened? an a$$hole freak sucking a woman's breasts? and all that nasty s*** that happened in the movie. I'll never rent that movie again. It was just too much 4 me. I was freaking out. I rather stick with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I hated this movie too. I didn't mind the gore,but there wasn't much of a story. I just wish I could get the 90 mins back that I wasted on this movie.

I love scary movies and I'm not afraid to watch them at all. BUt this one was demented. I hated it and couldn't watch the end. I wish they didn't have a baby in it. Did the baby die?

That movie F'n sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was sick demented and down right disturbing!!!!!!!!My family started to scream when the bird got killed (so did i)-those inbred mutants are serial killers who should all be exterminated.They have no emotions so they are NOT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The poor ppl in it.A man burnt to death, women getting abused horribly.It should b outlawed!

That movie was awesome, it was funny, and kinda frightening........... PETA sucks, I live next to their headquarters, I cant stand those people
