I'm curious as to why you ask this in Yahoo!Answers. Do you by any chance live in a different country than in the U.S? It's the capital city of Minnesota and is considered a twin city with Minneapolis, it's larger twin.
Nice city, but ya gotta get used to the State Bird there in the summer time (the locals will know this joke about the mosquitoes in Minnesota) and the cold in the wintertime.
For more info, check out "St. Paul" "Minnesota" in Google.

Yes there is a St. Paul Minnesota. It is on the eastern side of the "Twin Cities" of Minneapolis-St.Paul. St. Paul is the capital of Minnesota, which is located on the southeastern portion of Minnesota near the border of Wisconsin.

Yes. St. Paul and Minneapolis are called the Twin Cities; they have sort of grown together and are really only separated by the Mississippi River.

yes it is the capitol of minnesota. minneapolis is right next to it so the metropolitan area is often referred to as the twin cities (hence the minnesota twins)

No there isn't. Don't let them fool you. Those 300 thousand people next to Minneapolis don't exist. At least that's what the media thinks.
