and he as prescribed sleeping pills but i am supposed to take them during the day .as any one had a simmular thing or can anybody give me some more info as i was rushed out before i could quiz him(n.h.s to many patients,not enough time )would apreceate any input ,cheers p.s vertigo as been rulled out

Sleeping pills? You been given a minor tranquilizer or a barbiturate? Barbiturates are prescribed for epilepsy so it may be that you have petit mal episodes of epiliepsy, or small seizures.

Did you have any scans? Sounds as though it could be Epilepsy, or, as the answer above Say's, Petit Mal's.
Try the sleepers and see how it goes! Lets hope he/she's right!! You could a;way's see your GP for an explanation of your condition. The GP should be notified soon. Hope your feeling 100% soon!! x

Phone the hospital and speak with his secretary. Ask if you can have a non-clinic appointment as you are worried / confused.

You could also go and speak with your own family doctor.

Could it be a form of petit mal? I don't know, I'm not a medic.

i would go back Dr's now a days just don't give enough advice out I'm the same at moment with different reasons

call you dr. and if he wont talk to you or answere questions get a new dr that will take the time to explain things
