Could be a side effect of some medication -- you taking anything?

Whenever I see a question like this, the first thing I think of dehydration. It is the most common cause of the problem you describe. Human body needs at minimum, two liters of water a day to function well. If you dehydrate, your mucous membranes dry out in your mouth, your taste buds become equally dehydrated and cannot function normally. Try drinking at least 2 liters of water for several days and see if you "taste" problem doesn't resolve.

could be that u smoke(if u smoke....!!!) or dehydration i believe!
