if i take a piss test for a job and fail what heppens do they report it to the cops? or just not give me the job........and yes i am trying to stop smoking pot but its hard i have been clean for 20 days and all i want to do is spark up a "J" but i know its illegal and i need to grow up but anyway will i pass and what happens if i dont?

You just won't get the job.
Don't sweat it. Dillute. I just passed my test after 16 days of not smoking. Just stay stong till pee day. Check my references for more facts and myths. Don't believe the 30-45 days that is really only true for overweight chronic smokers.

If it has been 20 days I will telll you a trick that might work, depending how much thc is in your system.If you did not take the test yet, drink a galon of water before the test.You must drink it all.Take about 2 pisses.After that, you will piss mostly water.And you will have to go pee about every 20 min afterwards.My friend who was on probation said he used to do this all of the time.I used to smoke with him all of the time and wonder how he passed his tests.And this is what he told me.But I personaly have not drunk or done drugs in years.Oh yeah.If you smoke weed is your personal business.They won't report you to the police.You just won't get the job.

It depends on the company and how bad they want you- you might just be asked to take another test in like 2 weeks- but you wont go to jail- the cops cant do anything- as long as you don't have it in your possession or get caught with it- they can see you stoned but if you have no physical evidence nothing can happen- it's still a pain in the as* though hua

You will not get the job. The police will not be notified. Most companies will let you retest after 90 days.
You can drink lots of water and cranberry juice.
Best thing to do is just not smoke. I know its hard, but come up with other things to do. Thats the problem with smoking pot...you lose motivation to do other things. Get some exercise and a natural high from the endorphins!

If you don't pass the test, then the employer will probably follow whatever policy it has on drug use. In other words, don't count on getting the job.
In the highly unlikely event that they report this to the policy, chances are they won't have the time or desire to do anything. The are more interested in getting rid of dealers and distributors than dealing with the recreational user.

You will likely just not get the job. However, some jurisdictions require that all positive tests be reported to law enforcement. Please keep in mind that tests can produce a false positive, so you may be asked to take the test again at a later date.

I never take piss tests lol, well they wouldn't report you to the cops----don't be silly, they'll give you the job, they can't decide whether or not you can smoke, it's your business, they probably won't hire you if you have a disibilty/contagious illness. Don't be paranoid.

When i was like 18 I had a job at a hospital workingin the Xray dept. and my pee came up dirty after like 2 wks of working there, My manager called me into his office and told me the lab found large traces of marijuana in my urine, and that i was to pack up my stuff and leave immediateley. He gave me this pep talk about wasting my life. But they never call the cops. Once i lost the job, I definitely smoked a huge blunt, but it was really hard losing a job to something so stupid. I don't toke anymore though. Try quitting.

Well, you won't get the job, even if the cops get it I really doubt they will be able to use one failed drug test to take you to court.
What you and everyone should be doing is fighting the drug laws. They don't help, they only cost us money, time and lives.
Way more than the drugs themselves ever did.
