people just like the interaction of others. Most people aren't necessarily lazy, they may just want an answer put in terms they can understand. Also, it may be a lot faster to get the answer here, since someone else may know it off the top of their head, than spending countless minutes or hours searching for it on the internet.

It's fun to see what other people would say. Everyone knows something that someone else doens't know, and you know something that maybe the next guy doesn't know. You may not find some interesting facts on the internet, only some people who happen by chance to remember something cool that can help you. Take for example, Person A wants the best recipe for cake ever. Person B's grandma passed an awesome recipe down to them, and they are the only person who knows it presently. Person B also doesn't know how to create a website to show it to the world, so they answer person A's question with their family recipe. It all kind of adds up, you can learn something new from someone that someone else doesn't know.

the way i found answers is by a seek and find on the google search. it is listed as place to go to find answers to questions you are searching out.
but I agree some people just want you to do all their homework for them and i stopped doing that a long time ago. I used to tell them they were not fooling anyone with their questions, i don't even do that anymore. i just pass right on by their questions and that is when they will look up their own anwers.

A lot of people are overwhelmed by the amount of info on the Internet and would rather get an accurate answer as quickly as possible from someone who maybe knows their way around the net better than they do.

I figure that those of us who know where to look for info serve as "reference librarians" for those who don't know where to look.

Most of the time I do. I rarely come on here asking for factual answers. Really, I'm asking for opinions...and personal experience.
