because they are wanabee rockers...they always sucked but at least their songs were catchy. but now..geeeeezzzz theyve stooped so low as to wearing 'HILARY'S #1 FAN' hats.

b/c they are a commercial crap band.they were never good. they appeal to little girls and thats exactly what their label wanted obviously.
