Sorry but my vote goes to Bon Jovi. Just don't get it.

I agree with you about Bon Jovi. I have three of his songs, (which I like) but I went to download more and they all sounded the same.

Next on my list would probably be Michael Jackson.

Define Classic? To me, Bon Jovi is not classic rock, but rather an 80's Hair Band.

Many classify rock eras as follows:
1. Bubblegum - 1950 to 1954
2. Early Rock - 1955 to 1964
3. Serious Rock - 1965 to 1974
4. Disco - 1975 to 1980
5. Beats The Hell Outta Me - 1981 to Present

That having been said, my vote goes with the 65 - 74 era and rates Mick Jagger as the most overrated singer. Those lips...just can't get past the lips!

some element prominent. i am going to easily get that out of the great way striking now. Bob Dylan - remembered somewhat typically for "Like a Rolling Stone" and "moist Day women #12 and 35" (aka "each and all and sundry have were given to get stoned") The Rolling Stones - organic garbage. Mummies ought to not settle on upon up guitars and microphones. Time for those men to call it quits.

i have to say bon jovi myself. but the answers from everyone else, i'm not saying you're wrong, its your opinion, but you're saying floyd, the who, the stones, the beatles, queen....some of THE best bands ever. lyrically and musically. when these bands were putting out their music, it was amazing. it was unlike everything else. it was revolutionary, how can you say its over rated? overplayed, some of it? yeah. like the eagles. a lot of people like them, as do i. i think they're over played, but not over rated. big difference. makes me wonder what you guys consider "great" music...

bon jovi is way over rated, so is aerosmith, guns and roses, queen and lynyrd skynyrd is terrible

the who are amazing, they have arguably the one of the greatest rythm section ever, and is one of the greaedt concert bands ever
