Check the gas. Does it smell like turpintine? If so you might need to clean the carborator and get all the old gas out of it first. Refuel it with new gas.

There are so many things that can go wrong when a motorcycle or scooter that sits for a long time.

If it has a battery it might have gone dead, which would prevent it from getting a spark.

It would probably be best to get someone who knows what they are doing to look it over.

You are probably going to get a hundred different answers and any one of them could be correct.

i like the Suzuki Burgmann 4 hundred and 650. those are somewhat in a type of their very own. they're stylish, powerful, hassle-free, ordinary to holiday and the two will cruise all day at hi way velocity and the 650 could circulate on interstate parkway excursion. The 4 hundred is amazingly comparatively cheap, mileage is above 60. the motor vehicle trans works like a dream, twist throttle, whilst rpm attain 1900 you're off. those enhance up very swiftly too, surprising. The 4 hundred has a marvelous velocity over eighty 5. The 650 would desire to be over a hundred ( solid success). the two have super mushy seats. I holiday a gold wing and that i'm envious. the two will change on a dime. Calling them scooters isn't honest, somewhat.

Check the battery, if not check the spare plug, if not check the electrical wires some time there is some shortage or cut off in the wires. If not cheek the fuel pump or the fuel source is connected or not to motor, check the carburetor is it clean or not some times it gets dirty and blocked, if all of that is not working properly then you have to check the engine it self.

MOST LIKELY THE FUEL HAS "VARNISHED" . (GONE BAD) AND WILL NOT BE AS VOLITAL.(WON'T IGNITE VERY WELL) ALSO THE BATTERY WILL DROP VOLTAGE AND WON'T HAVE THE SPARK NEEDED TO FIRE THE OLD GAS. YOU MAY HAVE TO HAVE THE CARB CLEANED OUT BUT FIRST YOU CAN TRY SPRAYING "STARTER FLUID" DIRECTLY INTO THE CARB,(THE CHOKE 'BUTTERFLY' NEEDS TO BE OPEN AND YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE THE AIR FILTER.) THE STARTER FLUID IS MUCH MORE VOLITAL THAN FUEL AND WILL LOOSEN UP ANY VARNISHED FUEL.
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK,PULL OUT THE SPARK PLUG AND SPRAY THE SAME IN THE CYLINDER.IF THIS DOES NOT WORK,IT WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN IN TO HAVE THE CARB CLEANED .
TO PREVENT THIS USE STA-BIL FUEL PRESERVER AND KEEP YOUR BATTERY HOOKED UP TO A BATTERY TENDER

If its been TOO long,,,you may have to change the gas ,,,,otherwise you can try spraying " starting fluid" into the air intake,,,if it's gonna run,,,that should do it. (( may have to spray some on the spark plug too))
