If she's funny, she should try to be a comedian. Those are the ones you see doing impersonations all the time. I don't have a clue as to how to get started. Tell her to look up some agents online, check local newspapers for stand-up comedy clubs that have free play (not sure what it's called), where you sign up for your 10 minutes of fame, if they like you, they tell others......etc. Good luck to her!

Your friend needs to ask that question... when you ask, it doesn't matter, because YOU aren't the person interested in a career as a female impersonator... and unless your friend is serious about being a female impersonator, any advice we give you would be pointless.

I'd suggest he go hang around female impersonator bars... personally, I'd never go to one, but then that's just me. I'm not at all interested in seeing some guy dressed up to look like Carol Channing. Come to think of it... I'm not really interested in seeing Carol Channing dressed up to look like Carol Channing either.

Find some impersonation contests in your area and enter. Or go to Vegas.

Most start their careers doing stand up comedy. Have her work up a routine and check the papers for amatuer night.
