If you have seen a doctor for this, and he has not helped you....either time to find a new doctor, or stop obsessing about what sounds like cyclical water retention. Only you know the severity of your discomfort....from the tone of your question..if I felt that way, I'd be pounding on all the doors of all the doctors I could until one of them figured out the problem.

it could easily be arthritis . . do you wake up with pain in the morning and it gradually gets better as the day goes on??? Are your joints stiff???? That's the real sign of arthritis . . you could try cutting red meat out of your diet, check to make sure you don't have gout . . . and eventually you could try to see if glucosamine works for you . . good luck!!!

Yes. If the pain and swelling is limited to your joints then it could be arthritis. I recommend seeing another doctor.

Chewing your food thoroughly won't make digestion easier, but will allow your body time to recognise when it's actually full, thus preventing pigging out.
