What percentage of our community is bi?
These are my assumptions - please add your input.
With men there are very few bi's. Guys are usually just gay or straight and bi men are maybe about 25% of us - if that.
With women I think they have a higher population of bi's than men. I would say may 40% of women ar bi. I think this may be in part because a woman can just liet there and have straight sex. A gay man actually must get an erection and climax to do the deed.
Am I wrong? Please add your own thoughts!

Jo-Jo: I'm talking about if a gay woman is in denial and marries a straight man to conform to social norms. A guy can't just lie there. A guy must get excited enough to be erect and then orgasm.

Kinsey and others have studied populations and came up with something like 43% of the populations is TOTALLY straight. The totally gay number is argued to be somewhere between 6 and 10 percent. Lets take 6. 6 plus 43 is 49, that leaves 51% bisexual.
Now, not all bisexuals have had sex with same sex. Some are only mildly bi, and others are deeply distressed by their urges, or closetd. So you're 25% who have actually crossed over and had sex with both genders is a good number.

According to Kinsey 62% of men are bisexual in that they have had at least one encounter with both genders, of those 11.6 %where considered completely bisexual as in 50/50 in their desires of which I am happy to say I am a 3 on his scale. 29% of men where thought to be 100% straight they where 0's on his scale and only 9% where 100% homosexual 6 on his scale. that leaves 50% of them to be distributed more or less evenly across the remaining 4 levels of orientation. 1,2 and 4,5 which comes out to roughly 12 % per section give or take a % point.

I have read somewhere that 90% of the US Population is BI but 85%+ and many women will not admit their true feelings!

I don't think your percentages sound too bad, but remember a lot of people are not honest. And to the Gay Jesus (first answer) LOL. That is proably really true.
