No thats just terrible to watch someone die criminal or not

Noooooooo way. Not in a million years....I'd like to think I am still emotionally sensible to that kind of horror. I do believe in the death penalty, so knowing serial killers and such are getting their just reward by being executed does not make me lose any sleep. But I wouldn't watch it......although, now that I think about it, and for the sake of honesty, there is one exception I might make. If the person executed has hurt my own (light way of saying that they murdered or raped some member of my family or friends) then the anger I might feel at the moment could overpower any sensibilities i might have; so I might end up watching it, in person if possible. We can become people we rather not be in the face of such trauma....

If he or she were a child killer, I not only could watch it but I could perform the execution with pleasure on TV. I am not a liberal on this issue at all.

No, but... Well...ya know it's just occurring to me that I would probably have gladly watched Hitler hang (too bad he took the coward's way out), or Stalin drawn and quartered, or Kim Jong Il go the way of the firing squad - not that any of these happened or will happen - but if I'm being honest, guess I'm not too above it if it's someone who has inspired hate and committed millions of murders. Not quite sure what that says about me....

With some mass murderers (both elected and non-elected), I would struggle not to.
But on the whole, no.
I have no probs with the death penalty itself, but I wouldn't turn it into a spectacle.

It would depend upon what kind of execution they were performing and what kind of crime the person committed.

NO! Regardless of how strongly I may feel someone may be deserving of it, I dont need to see it play out in front of me....the day I WANT to see it happen is the day I get my head checked....

hell no. that's morbid and disgusting. i was disgusted when watching the green mile.. so i definitely wouldn't go for a real execution.

I would be curious, but I dont think I could watch it. When it comes to violence Im to soft. Cant really Handel it. Would you?
