My Mom swears by the Farmer's Almanac's ability to predict what sex my baby will be. There is also the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Anybody else believe in these?

I do. For my first pregnancy, the Chinese Lunar calendar said that i will be having a girl, and i did. We planned the second one, a boy is what we had in mind, and we did. My second is a boy. But also, there are different calendars out there. I went by the one on BabyZone.com

Farmer's Almanac huh? I'm not really sure, I could go either way. Supposedly there is a difference between male sperm (smaller, faster, die sooner) and female sperm (bigger slower, live longer), so depending on how when you had sex before ovulating can determine what the baby's sex is. How reliable are these methods? Who knows?

i didnt know the farmers almanac predicts babys sex....the chinese calanders i dont believe in but theyre fun to look at....the chinese calander was right with my first pregnancy...i had a boy...this pregnancy it says i should have a girl but its another boy

my prediction is female. yet different than that in case you had lively intercourse for the time of theory its plenty greater probable to be a boy. in case you had greater sensual lovemaking its plenty greater probable to be a woman. have a chum invite you to their dwelling house and characteristic a spoon under one cushion and a fork under yet another, be blind to what's the place. in case you pick the seat with a spoon its a woman and in case you pick the seat with a fork its a boy. or have somebody carry a team (like necklace chain) with a real gold ring on the top. have them carry it above your abdomen button on an identical time as youre mendacity on your back. if it strikes vertically its a boy and horizontally its a woman. that's the perspective that informed me i substitute into havin a boy and it substitute into stunning

I think that it is a 50/50 chance and then when someone predicts more than once they think they can predict.

These tests are awesome!!! If you consider 50% accuracy awesome. Myself, I prefer the coin toss method, works 50% of the time too!!
Heads = boy
tails = girl

a little bit cuz it just happened to my friend they predicted a boy and there she had one lol..who knows maybe coincidence or maybe not. good luck with ur pregnancy anyways.

I did....LOL It was dead on for my first pregnancy, both of my sisters' pregnancies, and all of my friends pregnancies.....but it was wrong for my current pregnancy. All the old wives tales, gender predictors, etc said girl....but he is ALL boy!
