A gay man is a girl's best friend! And let me tell you it's true. I have two gay male friends that I love very much!!! It's wonderful to get a male perspective on life and be totally comfortable knowing there is no chance in heaven or hell that he'll hit on you.

I would love 2 have a gay male companion. Although I don't agree w/ their sexual preferences, I feel that gay males have more insight with how women feel, anything from fashion to real life drama. I'm not saying that all gay men are like this, but I think many are. I wish I were like Grace from Will and Grace and have Will or Jack as a friend. They really know how to be more caring and sensitive and I think their companionship would be greatly valued.

Sorry, but I'm gay and I don't like shopping.
Haha, sorry to be so mean, but I think the reason why girls really want gay friends is becasue they want a feminine friend, which is damn annoying. But I'm sure a lot of girls wouldn't mind having gay friends because of the lack of sexual tension or sexuality at all.
Then again, if you're just looking for friends I don't think your sexuality would matter

My best friend in the world is a married girl - we have the closest most caring honest friendship I have ever had...we met in 1997 and basically she just saw me at work and came up and got in my face and said "We are going to be good friends!" - - I was taken aback by her forwardness at first but in a few hours we were just clicking. She can tell me anything about her, her marriage, her sex life, her hopes & dreams and I can do vice verse. Ours really is a friendship made in heaven. I have no idea if it because of our sexual identity or not...I can only thank God he brought her into my life. Whether you find a gay friend or a straight friend I hope that you have one as good as I do, it makes life much happier.

Um yeah, I have a gay friend and he's a lot of fun. We can laugh about anything and I don't have to worry because I know he's not hitting on me...there's no pressure about being friends because with him, that's all it is. Now, trying to be friends with a straight guy is impossible because all there after is pussy. Sorry to be so blunt.

I am a married heterosexual female who has had many, many gay friends. They have been fun, supportive, giving, and enjoyable. They gossip better than gals and their homes are oh, so elegant.
They're just like folks.

i would love to have a gay friend the normal gay man not the ones that were dresses and were ponytails and stuff...because men are cool to hang around and they will tell you the truth cause they no how men think...and you dont have to worry about them just trying to be nice and friendly just to get in your panties.

"Scared" of them? Why??? They're people. People have vast and numerous differences. I'm sure there are things about your friends and family that you don't know but which would surprise you if you did. That people have differing qualities and preferences is a given.
