Even though most countries' age of consent is 14 - 16?

Because at 16, you are very easily influenced and may make a mistake that will stay with you for the rest of your life. I don't think it's got much to do with political parties. It's just not really right for grown men to take advantage of young girls like that.

Because in a civilized society, it is wrong.
Yes in other parts of the World, it is considered OK to have sex with a kid but America is a civilized society and both decent Democrats and Republicans, are against having sex with kids!

Cus that shows that men these days have begun to nurture a really twisted mindset which results from rejection from partners their age, besides, it's mostly on the age ratio issue.

They need to get you Kids off here and have a site for 21 and over ! I do know Bush's IQ is very low and I would take a guess yours is even lower!

It's not Democrats or Republicans. It's parents.
The concern is that young girls (or boys) are not emotionally mature enough to make such decisions, and that it's too easy for adults to take advantage of them.
